Lollapalooza founder and Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell has announced a livestream of his 2021 Lollapalooza after-party show. The stream will be available via Veeps July 22 at 6 p.m. PT.
Farrell's after-party stream will be captured on the rooftop of the Pendry Chicago above Chicago’s Riverwalk. The livestream will feature old favorites and new songs by Farrell’s Kind Heaven Orchestra.
Farrell spoke on the one-of-a-kind event in a press release.
“At that point, there were no festivals happening — for almost two years," he says. "We needed to come back. Lolla went for it. Listened to the science, worked with the doctors and the mayor. Suddenly, there we were, the Kind Heaven Orchestra set on high, surrounded by Chicago skyscrapers. Our hearts were released.”
Lollapalooza takes place from July 28-31 in Chicago's Grant Park. Metallica, 100 gecs, WILLOW, Turnstile, Dominic Fike, Green Day, Jane's Addiction, Denzel Curry and many others will perform across the four-day event.
The stream will be available to watch for three days after the initial event. Tickets are available here.
