Incubus is celebrating the 20th anniversary of album Morning View with a special streaming show for fans around the world. On Oct. 23 — the 20th anniversary of the release of their iconic album — Incubus will perform Morning View in its entirety exclusively on platform Veeps.
The Southern Californian band will broadcast the performance from Morning View studios in Malibu, Calif., where the album was originally written.
The show will hit four different time zones to best serve a fan base that stretches to all corners of the world. The broadcast will be available in Asia at 7 p.m, Tokyo time, Europe at 7 p.m. London time, South America at 7 p.m. Buenos Aires time, and North America at 8 p.m. ET.
Morning View is often noted as the album that helped make Incubus a headlining band. It was Incubus’s first release to reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200, landing at No. 2 in 2001. Hits stemming from the release include “Wish You Were Here,” “Nice to Know You,” and “Warning.”
The Veeps show helps the band come full circle, since they performed the album live across 200 radio stations on its release date.
Tickets for the streaming event are on sale now via Veeps and begin at $18, with a $1 contribution going towards the band’s Make Yourself Foundation. Started in 2003, the Make Yourself Foundation supports a variety of mission-driven projects and organizations such as American Civil Liberties Union, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Surfrider Foundation and more.
