Sold out event will stream free globally
Music fans around the world will be able to experience performances from the biggest names in alternative rock as they come together for the 2023 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO Presented by Capital One on January 14th, through a free live video stream on premium streaming platform Veeps. The livestream will feature an extraordinary selection of talent from the lineup including Jack White, Muse, Fall Out Boy, Phoenix, CHVRCHES, Beach Weather, Rosa Linn and more, hosted by Woody of iHeartRadio ALT 98.7’s nationally syndicated The Woody Show.
“If you counted all the fans of all the world-class artists performing, you could fill the Kia Forum 100 times over, maybe more,” states Veeps co-founder Joel Madden. “The Veeps stream is for alternative music fans all around the world, for so many fans who love rock music, but are unable to go to concerts, and for everyone that missed out on a ticket. You don’t have to miss the show.”
The stream marks the first time that Veeps and iHeartMedia have partnered to offer live video streaming and an interactive digital concert format of one of iHeartMedia’s roster of incredibly successful, nationally recognized concert events, extending the capacity beyond just those who can attend in-person.
“Our live video partnership with Veeps will extend the reach of this once-in-a-lifetime line up of artists at The Forum to millions of fans across the country,” said John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises for iHeartMedia.
As in previous years, iHeartRadio Alter Ego will broadcast on iHeartRadio alternative and rock stations across the country, on iHeartRadio.com and on the iHeartRadio app.
The event, which also features the Red Hot Chili Peppers, takes place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA. Tickets are now sold out.
