J-Red was introduced to hip hop like many other Aussie kids in the 80’s, beat street, local kids breaking etc. What set him aside was his awareness and total fascination with the complexities and technicalities surrounding the art. By age 16 he had scored his first dj job, spinning hip hop, funk and soul.
