At just twenty-two, TAZ has already commanded some of the world’s biggest stages, from headlining festivals like Coachella to opening at MetLife Stadium for The Rolling Stones. A guitarist, vocalist, and actor of rare versatility, he is currently a touring guitarist with multi-GRAMMY® Award winner Jon Batiste and has been championed by artists including John Mayer, who praised him as “the first young guitar player that is not a gimmick.” Inspired to pick up the guitar at age eight after seeing School of Rock, TAZ soon went on to star in School of Rock the Musical on Broadway and perform alongside Lady Gaga, Stevie Nicks, Gary Clark Jr., Derek Trucks, Slash, and more. Known for his electrifying live performances and soulful charisma, TAZ has built an international following through extensive touring and sold-out shows, including New York City’s Bowery Ballroom. He is now preparing to release his long-anticipated, genre-bending recorded debut.
