SOUND was assembled by producer and bassist Colin Wolfe in 2019. The band has solidified into a stand-alone rock band exploring a sonic palette from 70’s groove to the new millennium with influences spanning all genres. On bass is Los Angeles native, Colin Wolfe, whose recording credits include N.W.A, Dr. Dre, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Aretha Franklin among others. On drums is Curtis Byrd, an in-demand live, and session drummer known for his electric energy. Curtis plays with Baby Bash, Frankie J, the EC Twins, DJ E-man - Power 106 to name a few. On lead guitar and vocals is Wyatt Kane, and on rhythm guitar and vocals is Jason Hines. Wyatt and Jason are longtime friends who grew up together in the Pacific Northwest shredding to the staples of rock: Hendrix, Rush, Metallica, Zeppelin, Pantera... Their influences expanded to include Linkin Park and artists like Mac Miller with focus on beat making. Wyatt relocated to LA in 2016 followed by Jason and together their combined vision is to break boundaries and bring Rock n’ Roll back to Los Angeles!
