Ezra Kwizera, a Rwandan Canadian and Marcus Mosely, who grew up the American south, bring their unique songs and stories to this Black History Month livestream show. We first met Ezra in Kigali while on a humanitarian mission in Rwanda, since then he has married a Canadian and become an international artist, music producer and community leader. Ezra’s music style is richly multi‐cultural – a zesty yet soulful mix of Reggae, Soca, East African Bongo, and Pop. Ezra is a recipient of a Canada Council grant for his music and has performed at many festivals in western Canada including the Vancouver Folk Festival.
