Since then, he has played at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and at age 10 was the opening performer for Stevie Wonder's induction into the Apollo Theater's Hall of Fame. Whitaker been hailed for his prodigious talents as a jazz pianist.
