"New York Alive” is a dance performance celebrating New York’s endurance and timeless energy that nurtures its creative impulse featuring world-renowned Principal Dancer Herman Cornejo, in partnership with ballet sensation Skylar Brandt, in an original and unprecedented program. The audience will experience not only two world premieres, but will also have privileged access to the “show behind the show” with an in-depth backstage look at the creative process of choreography and rehearsals for new works. This program consists of a Pas de Deux by choreographer Joshua Beamish, featuring Herman Cornejo and Skylar Brandt and set to an original score by musician and composer Peter Sparacino. Also featured, a solo performance created by Herman Cornejo, set to George Gershwin’s iconic “Rhapsody in Blue”, performed by internationally renowned pianist Horacio Lavandera. This is the first milestone of the online dance company DANCELIVE by Herman Cornejo.

Using innovative camera technologies created by Photographer and Filmmaker Steven Sebring, Sebring Revolution provides stunning cinematography, giving audiences a beautifully immersive look at the DANCELIVE process through interactive and cutting-edge visual platforms including QR codes that will lead the audience to interactive and immersive content. We encourage everyone to view on their desktops to have their mobile devices available to scan the QR codes with their mobile camera.
